Who We Are

SERVING YOUR COMMUNITY

About Us

The Hurst Police Officers Association was founded in 1973 by officers of the Hurst Police Department who wished to establish a positive relationship with the community, police administration, and city officials. Since that time, the association has strived to maintain these relationships while also ensuring the safety and well-being of our members, their families, and the community they serve.

Today, the Hurst Police Association also works to advance the educational, economic and social welfare of its members while proactively promoting community events, charities, and other programs that speak to the quality of life within the City of Hurst.

Members include both sworn and civilian employees of the Hurst Police Department, as well as retirees in good standing.
